Transport / Mobility and Infrastructure

Good quality transport/mobility, infrastructure and utilities are critical enablers of any successful economy. They offer points of differentiation and competitiveness. Unlike real estate which can be quickly rebuilt or adapted, these infrastructures/services can take 10 years or more to plan and build and can have a lifespan of 25 to 100 years and are a critical for sustainable development. They require long term planning and are the backbone on which all other services are built such as housing, real estate development, jobs, education and health and wider community facilities.

We are able to offer advice on strategy, planning and implementation of individual services as well as integration across the services, which is a core capability of our company. We have particular expertise in planning of integrated mobility and urban regeneration using transit-oriented developments (TODs) to drive increased use of public transit and support cross-funding, thereby reducing operational subsidies. We work with leaders and key decision makers, state owned enterprises and the private sector at all scales of development from city/region, neighborhood to city block. We also assist governments in developing policy and regulation to support increase resilience, mitigate risks and manage adaption including linkages to climate change.
