Those companies that manage to grow from small to medium to large need the ability to rapidly scale but most never do, either because they choose not to or because they lack the skills and/or resources. Understandably, most organizations focus on their clients or customers with little time spent reinventing themselves. Irrespective of an organizations size or purpose, renewal is a must. That means reviewing its values, goals, products/services, market positioning, strategy and skills on a regular basis. Failure to do so runs that risk of decline and ultimate failure.
