About Techne Praxis

Techne Praxis is a boutique hybrid advisory/management and technical consultancy. The origin of our name comes from Ancient Greek philosophy. "Techne" meaning art, skill, craft or practical knowledge while "Praxis" is the process or practical application of learning. At Techne Praxis we use our skills and knowledge to facilitate organizations and people to ethically deliver transformational performance.

Techne Praxis was formed in 2024 to acquire Buro Happold Indonesia and provide additional focus. We have been inspired by Ted Happold, the founder of Buro Happold, who believed that all work should deliver social value. We supplement this with our own values and pledge:

• We will use case studies to show you how other organizations have addressed similar issues not because we want you to copy standard solutions but to help you learn what might be appropriate for you.
• We will use technology as appropriate to model the existing situation and possible future scenarios.
• We will work collaboratively with you throughout using clear jargon-free communication to help you build your skills and if you need help with implementation we will support you to the extent you believe is necessary.
